The Vidyalaya had a simple and humble beginning in 1993 with a lower kindergarten class. It is affiliated to the central Board of Secondary Education; Delhi (Affiliation No. 930432).The first batch of secondary school students passed out with flying colours in 2004-05 and the vidyalaya has since maintained an excellent academic record. The medium of instruction is English. Besides English and Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit languages are also taught in the vidyalaya. CBSE has just granted upgradation of the Vidyalaya to Senior Secondary level . i e Std XI & XII. The vidyalaya also places great emphasis on extra curricular activities and encourages students to hone their creative talents. The vidyalaya provides classes for kalari (Traditional martial art of Kerala), karate, violin, vocal music, dance art and craft. Yoga, physical training games and sports are also conducted by the vidyalaya .The students of the vidyalaya participate in the inter-school competitions – literary, cultural, sports and games, besides taking part in various scholarship tests.
